I admit it... "Fall" almost did not make it in our home. This is very unusual because I LOVE fall, I love the sweaters, apple cider, pumpkin patches, boots, soups, hot chocolate and etc. This year between all the moving, remodeling, sicknesses, and visits it almost didn't make it. So one morning I decided that we were going to do all our fall traditions in one day.
We called some friends and put together an inpromptu run to the pumpkin patch,
A speed run through the corn maze. (thankfully we didn't get lost)
Rested on some hay, only for 5 mins... we had a lot to do
Picked out their own pumpkin
Okay... I took a small break too
Did a little meditating in a straw hut... a fall must =)
Ran to the store, bought some apple cider, ran home and made (or warmed up) some soup, carved pumpkins (girls pumpkin above, boys pumpkin below) roasted seeds, tried on costumes, and then went to bed.
Did I forget anything?!?!
